THE 2010 BLOSSOMTIME FESTIVAL THEME WAS ANNOUNCED AT THIS YEAR’S KICK OFF DINNER AND PARADE AWARDS CEREMONY

The 2010 Blossomtime Festival will embark upon a wonderful journey graced with all the color and whimsy of fairy tales and dreams.  Blossomtime will celebrate its 104th year “Where Dreams Come True”.  Nearly 100 people from 23 communities were in attendance at this season’s Kick-Off Celebration and will soon open their doors to endless possibilities as they each create their own “Dreams” for the themes of their community pageants.
The 2009 Grand Floral Parade Award winners were also honored that evening.  Accepting awards for their excellence were the following communities and organizations:
  • Watervliet – Mayor’s Award
  • Baroda – Queen’s Award
  • Edwardsburg – President’s Award
  • Benton Harbor – Parade Committee Award
  • Berrien Springs - Floral Award
  • Coloma – Animation Award
  • Bridgman – Director’s Award
  • And winning the George “Terry” Baccash Sweepstakes Memorial Award was the Community of Eau Claire.
