The Village of Lawton is located on M-40, four miles south of I-94 (exit 60). Main Street is the home of restaurants like Big T and D’Coy ducks and surrounded by many vintage Victorian homes. Lawton prides itself on not having a single traffic light.
The village is surrounded by vineyards and fruit orchards. As a major grape-producing region, Welch’s has a plant in the village Honee Bear canning is a producer of various canned goods seen in grocery stores. Lawton represents small town Americana — quaint and friendly and a destination for those seeking inland lake recreation and winter sports.
